Hebrew Words for Praise

If I were to ask you to define the word “praise” what would you say? I imagine most would say it means to sing. Others might say it means to shout or to lift up your hands. We probably all have a different interpretation of that word. But what if I told you that whenever you read the word “praise” in your english bible it actually has a specific meaning?
